Sharon L. Stelter, age 87, passed away at Aspire Senior Living on the morning of Wednesday, September 2, 2026. She was born to the late Frederick and Geraldine (Hable) Stapel on November 15, 1938, in Oshkosh. She met the love of her life, Eugene Stelter, in 1956. They were united in marriage on May 11, 1957, at St. Josaphat's Parish in Oshkosh; and were together until his passing in 2023.
Sharons primary job was tending to the needs of her children and grandchildren. Which included helping them with homework or projects.
She worked at Oshkosh School system in food service and Bakery at Cub Foods
Sharon loved to work with pottery pieces, painting and glazing them. Sharon loved to cook and bake of which she was fabulous at. She and Gene had spent several early parts of the year in Florida enjoying the warm weather and time with Gene's brother and family in Flagler Beach, Florida.
Sharon is survived by five children: Pam (Jeff) Paulik, Julie (Jim) Lang, Gail (Doug) Hesser, Daniel (Alessandro Raimondi) Stelter, John (Jen) Stelter; grandchildren: Phillip (Marjorie) Paulik, Greggory Paulik, Emily (Matt) Torgorsen, Casee (Ryan) Hawkins, Cam (Cierra Meckelberg) Corcoran, Sarah Hesser (James Weincek), Amanda (Patrick Sloan) Hesser, Carter Stelter; great grandchildren: Porter and Barrett Meach and Lillian Paulik and Evelyn Torgerson.
In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her infant son Jeffrey.
A memorial service for Sharon will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park (1451 Green Valley Rd, Neenah, WI 54956) on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11AM. A time of visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of service.
The family would like to thank the staff at Aspire Senior Living and Asera Care Hospice for the loving care they gave to Sharon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Oshkosh Day by Day Warming Shelter.
