Steven Eugene Klinger

Steven E. Klinger 51, of Pickett died unexpectedly at Mercy Medical Center on Thursday January 15, 2009. Steve was born in Oshkosh on August 20, 1957, a son of Eugene and Ruth Bekkala Klinger.Steve received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh, and was director of operations at the Diedrich Insurance Agency.Survivors include his life partner, Cheryl Poliak, Pickett; parents, Eugene and Ruth Klinger, Sun City Center, FL; brother, David (Cheryl) Klinger, Appleton; nephew, Michael Klinger, Appleton; niece, Kathleen Klinger, Appleton; uncle James Bekkala, South Range, MI; aunt Shirley Degner, Oshkosh; special friend and cousin Kevin Degner, Oshkosh; and other cousins.Memorial services will be held Wednesday January 21, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Konrad- Behlman Funeral Home- Westside. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. Inurnment will be at Liberty Prairie Cemetery
