Sunita Suratu Balogun-Olayiwola

Sunita Balogun-Olayiwola, 47, passed away on October 14, 2021, in Wauwautosa, WI.

She was born on July 26, 1974, to Rasheed Kadir-Balogun and Tawakalitu Ajoke Balogun in Lagos, Nigeria.

She went to Wesley Pacelli school for the blind and deaf from 1978-1984 where she exceeded all expectations and was an honor roll student during her time there. She also went to polytechnic of Ibadan where she got her OND in catering.
Sunita enjoyed sports and she was a former javelin and shot-putter. She also loved shopping, as well as spending quality time with her family and friends. Mostly importantly, she was loved immensely by her community.

Sunita is survived by her husband, Akeem Olayiwola; two daughters, Latifat Balogun and Ogechi Duruaku; her mother, Tawakalitu Ajoke Balogun; two sisters, Abosede Adetomiwa, and Iyabo Bello; and four brothers, Nureni Kadir-Balogun, Saheed Kadir-Balogun, Nurudeen Kadir-Balogun and Rafiu Kadir-Balogun. Her son in-law Mayowa Ogbara as well as several uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, nieces, and in-laws.

Sunita is preceded in death by her father, Rasheed Kadir-Balogun.

The service for Sunita Balogun-Olayiwola will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 1 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home eastside (402 Waugoo Avenue, Oshkosh).

Visitation will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home from 11:30 AM until the time of service.

A burial will take place after the service at Lake View Memorial Park.
