Suzanne J. Lannbrecht

Suzanne J. Lannbrecht, age 86, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026. Born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Clarence and Frances Luedtke.

She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1962. After graduating she took a trip to West Berlin, Germany where she visited a friend of hers who was married to a Russian Language Interpreter with the US Air Force. She also visited Holland, France and England.

For 30 Years, from 1962 to 1992 she was a dedicated teacher at Washington Elementary School in Waupun, Wisconsin. She married Merlin Lannbrecht on November 1, 1975. They were married for 50 years, Merlin preceded Sue in death in 2025. Sue and Merlin enjoyed many trips to Nashville, Tennessee to attend the Grand Old Opry. They also took a vacation trip to Hawaii and a Cruise to Alaska. She was a spirited lifelong fan of both the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. She attended many Brewer Baseball Games and had season tickets to the Green Bay Packer games.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Oshkosh her entire life. She was a Classic League bowler where she achieved many Six Hundred Series. Sue was a member of Winnebago County Retired Educators Association.

Sue is survived by her brother Laurence Luedtke and his wife Melinda of Fernandina Beach, Florida. Sue and the Luedtke Family have a close lifelong friend Jay Menzel of Oshkosh Wisconsin.

A memorial service for Sue will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, 402 Waugoo Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54901 at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, officiated by Rev. Maggie Berndt-Dreyer. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
