It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terri L. Morth, 58, a beloved mother, wife, and friend. She was born on October 11th, 1965, in Oshkosh, WI, and left this world on Friday, July 5th, after a long battle with cancer that would make the strongest warrior kneel. Terri was a vibrant soul who touched the lives of many with her caring and humble nature. She was a fighter and a survivor, facing life's challenges with unwavering strength and resilience. Her free-spirited personality and unconditional love were a beacon of light to those who had the privilege of knowing her. As a dedicated wife and loving partner to John Morth, their bond was a testament to a deep and enduring love, filled with mutual respect and unending support. As a mother, Terri showed undying affection and devotion to her children and bonus family members. She taught them the values of kindness, humility, and compassion. Her nurturing spirit and selfless care were the foundations of her family. 

 

Terri enjoyed the art of canning and food preservation. She spent many happy hours tending her vegetable and flower gardens. Terri spent her whole life in charity by being an advocate for foster care, volunteering with her church, and donating time to her children’s schools. Terri's legacy of generosity, bravery, and kindheartedness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind her husband John Morth, children: Josh Morth, Ben Morth, Twynette (Jason) Felix, Trent (Cody) Boelke, Tristine (Will) Cheskie, Travis Boelke, Cindy (Eric) Schafer, Jessica Morth (Nick), Cece (Joel) Buehner, Megan Morth, Ryan Morth, Blake Morth, 14 grandchildren, mother Jennice Brearley, siblings Todd (Terri) Brearley, Tamie Childers, Tuesday (Philip) Grundy, Tina (Eric) Nygaard, Lucas & Taylor Brearley, as well as the numerous people who are loved as family. The lessons of love she imparted were her greatest legacy and will forever be cherished by all. 

 

She is preceded in death by her father David Brearley, grandmothers Helen Brearley and Lorinda Heft, grandfathers Ronald Brearley and Jesse Heft, and granddaughters Chloe Behnke and Elise Morth. A memorial service to celebrate Terri’s life will be held on July 13, 2024, at Sunnyview Christian Church 175 E. Cty. Rd. Y, Oshkosh, WI. Public viewing from 9-11 am with service and meal to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or The Ronald McDonald House.
