Warner Lawrence Johnson

Warner L. Johnson, 90, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday February 28, 2006 at his residence. He was born on July 10. 1915 in the Town of Winchester a son of Samuel and Hulda Christensen Johnson. On June 18, 1944 he married Marvel Guerke in Montello.He was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church. He worked as a painter at Hugo Reise, Andrew Anderson, Timmerman Paining, and Melvin Klinger Painting. He loved gardening, traveling, fishing, and sports.He is survived by his wife of 61 years Marvel, one son Richard(Cheri) Johnson of New London, one brother Wilbur Charlie Johnson of King, two grandchildren Paul(Nicole) Johnson of Appleton, Matthew Johnson of Waupaca, one great-grandchild, Jazz.He was preceded in death by three brothers, Floyd, Archie, Clarence and one sister Gladys Olsen.Funeral services will be held on Friday March 3, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Daniel Krause officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 11:30 until the time of the service. Burial will be at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.A memorial has been established.A special thank you to Warners personal caregivers Chris Webster, Verina Paulson and Affinity Hospice for their care.
