Yvonne B. Fritz

Yvonne Fritz, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at The Residence in Oshkosh. She was born on July 25, 1932, to the late Eloys Laatsch and Margaret (Jagodinski) Timmerman.

Yvonne graduated from Oshkosh High School and was a lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church.

Yvonne retired from Oshkosh West High School in 2001, She loved being a paraprofessional for the Special Education Department. She formed lifelong friendships and considered the students in her class “her kids.” She kept in touch with many of her students up until her passing.

After retirement she enjoyed traveling and lunches with her friends. She enjoyed spoiling and spending time with her Grandkids. - she loved taking them out to eat, to movies and shopping, especially for shoes. They have many fond memories with Grandma Bonnie.

Yvonne is survived by her children: Diane (Steve) Borski, James (Tami) Fritz, John (Carmen) Fritz Laurie (Dale) Mishleau, Linda (Tim) Wiensch, Lisa Drew; grandchildren: Kristina(Jim) Cartwright, Melissa (David) Morris, Megan Abler, Andrew Fritz, Madelyn Fritz, Kassanda Fritz, Corinn Fritz, Sara (Shaun) Hileski, Alexander Grant, Emma Drew, Sophie Drew, Carter Drew; great grandchildren: Bennett and Isabelle Cartwright, Bentley Morris, Gavin and Elijah Hileski; brother, Donald (Dolly) Laatsch; and sisters-in-law, Berta Laatsch and Sally Helm. In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her infant son, Robert Fritz; daughter, Kathy Carlson; granddaughter, Alana Grant; former spouse, Herman Fritz; brother, Eugene Laatsch; and sons-in-law: Mario Roberts and David Carlson.

A funeral service for Yvonne will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at First English Lutheran Church, 1013 Minnesota St, Oshkosh. Visitation will take place on Saturday at the church from 10:30 am until the time of service. She will be entombed at Lake View Memorial Park.
