Zachary Allen Jungwirth

Mar 25, 1990 — Oct 8, 2026

Zachary Allen Jungwirth, 36, lost his fight to the disease of addiction on Thursday, October 8, 2026. He was born to Jeffrey Jungwirth and Carrie Priest (Schlichting) on March 25, 1990, in Oshkosh. Zach attended Oshkosh West High School. He had several different jobs but enjoyed working at the UWO Food Service the most.

He played some sports but his favorites were playing disc golf and gaming. He also enjoyed playing golf with his Papa and hanging out with all of his friends. He loved his sweets, mainly caramel apples, and loved Sal’s Pizza. Music was a big part of his life, and he enjoyed rap the most.

Zach was loved by all and a friend to everyone. He had a smile as big as his heart and saw good in everyone. Zach and his mother had a very special bond and always had each other’s back. His grandmothers were very close to him and never gave up on him. He had a love for animals and children and was especially patient with special needs children.

Zachary is survived by his wife, Steffanie Kinderman and his two wonderful stepchildren. Also survived by his mother Carrie (Jordan) Priest, his grandparents Russ (Chris) Schlichting, Diane Miller and Marcia Jungwirth and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Zachary was preceded in death by his father Jeffrey Jungwirth, grandfathers Jordy Jungwirth and Harry Miller, and great grandparents.

Zachary will be deeply missed by all.
